Virginia Surgery Associates was founded by Russell P. Seneca, MD, FACS, FCM in 1978. Since that time VSA’s General Surgeons have provided State of the Art surgical care for our patients with offices located in Annandale, Fairfax, Leesburg, Alexandria (Hinson Farm Road near Mount Vernon Hospital), Alexandria (Kenmore Avenue near Alexandria Hospital) Lorton-Market Place and Manassas. VSA is regarded as one of the premier general surgery practices serving INOVA Fairfax Hospital, INOVA Fair Oaks Hospital, INOVA Loudoun Hospital, INOVA Alexandria Hospital, INOVA Mount Vernon Hospital and Reston Hospital Center.
Virginia Surgery Associates offers the complete spectrum of general surgery and lapraroscopic procedures for our patients; our surgeons specialize in the surgical care of breast disease, thyroid and parathyroid diseases, benign and malignant intestinal disorders and trauma. Recent additions to our services include ultrasound capability to further enhance our comprehensive surgical breast program and aesthetic laser capability for the cosmetic treatment of benign skin lesions.
Virginia Surgery Associates now offers a Vascular Division headed by Drs. Mukherjee and Hashemi who offer over 40 years of combined experience. The vascular division provides comprehensive diagnosis, prevention and treatment of vascular disease including a vascular laboratory, vein center, and surgical intervention. The Vascular Division offers services in VSA’s Annandale, Fairfax and Manassas office locations.
